Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen (American television journalist) is currently a part of CNBC. She serves as the co-anchor for the channel's programs 'Squawk On the Street as well as 'Closing bell'. As an Ohio native, she was not much attracted to the world of markets and currencies when she was in college. While at New York University she interned for ForexTV.com. Her first exposure in the field of business news through this internship. She later earned a master's degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. The internship was for 4 months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. After returning to the US and began to work for Bloomberg's offices in New York. She became a TV anchor in the end. CNBC hired her in December 2013 as reporter. Prior to her appointment at 'Closing Bell the show, she was co-anchor on 'Worldwide exchange' and the 'Power Lunch'. Eisen is co-anchoring 'Squawk on the Street' since the year 2014. One of the most prominent business journalists of today, her main focus is global consumer news ever since she joined CNBC.
