Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. Her career began in the field of real estate following her graduation from college. Tarek El-Moussa, her future husband, met in this industry. They ran a successful business until 2008 when real estate investors as well as house flippers and other people went broke. Tarek El Moussa & Christina El Moussa had a chance to be insolvent due to the crash in stocks of 2008. From a $6,000-per-month home, to a $700/month apartment. Their business, and the economy at large, slowly rebounded. HGTV and Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek sought out a partner to aid him in making an HGTV audition tape which showed him and Christina turning a house beginning to end. Pie Town Productions, a production company in New York City, got the tape. The executives fell in adore with Tarek & Christina. The couple signed an agreement with HGTV. "Flip of Flop" w premiered in April of 2013. The show ran 92 episodes between 2013 until 2017. Christina and Tarek acquired homes in Orange County that were usually homes with a middle-income. Then they spent a few weeks renovating the home to ensure they could sell the property for return. Tarek is in charge of construction, demolition and renovations. Christina keeps everything running in a timely manner.
