Mary McCormack is an American actress who is known for her lead role in the TV show 'Murder One The West Wing In Plain Sight' as well as "Loaded". Also, she is well-known for her movie roles in Private Parts', 'Deep Impact', 'True Crime and 1408'. McCormack is the daughter of a clinical psychologist, as well as the proprietor of an ice-cream shop. McCormack comes from an unentertainment-related family. After the divorce of her parents, McCormack enrolled to Trinity College Hartford, Connecticut. In 1990, after graduating from Wardlaw-Hartridge School with a BA in English, she was awarded a degree. In her early twenties when she began her stage career, it started when she performed in "Amahl and the Night Visitor" which was a Christmas opera.
