Jana Kramer became famous on television, where she played Alex on One Tree Hill's finale for the last three seasons. She was featured in several episodes as a brand new country artist, which allowed her album to reach the Billboard 200 Top 20. Thirty One (2015), the follow-up album in 2015, also reached into the Top Ten. It was the end of the decade with appearances in Dancing with the Stars, television shows, and singles that were not album tracks. Released in 2021 was The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native, who grew up on country music. Though she had an acting and recording career however, her screen debut came in the independent horror film Dead/Undead (2002) when she was still at high school. Through the years Kramer was a regular on a variety of series, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the part as Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the Second season (2007-2008). Kramer was then on TV in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 from 2008 to 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in the year 2009. She joined the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009, playing Alex Dupre. she was on until the final episode in 2012, which was half way into. Her focus was on her musical career afterward, she did not stop acting. she was a part of films like Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would appeal to her music fanbase. Kramer's second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15, 2015. The album was helped by the Top Five country song I Got the Boy and as a duet with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album climbed to three places on the Billboard 200 country charts and at number 10 on the Billboard 200. After a two-month stint on 23rd Dancing with the Stars season, she finished fourth. In the same year, she had an adult-oriented hit song by releasing"Feels Like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
